This piece is 4 inch in diameter, and found as an erratic on the beach

Unable to accurately identify which Belemnites are within matrix, but it makes a nice display piece.

Belemnites are fossilised remains of what was called a guard, and the guard was an internal organ inside a creature which resembles a squid.
