Saturday 26th October - Rock and Fossil Roadshow at the Market House in Exchange Street, Driffiled. Open to the public 11am to 3pm; admission free *.

Thursday 14th November - (evening lecture) - Chris Darmon (of GeoSupplies) on "The Geology of Southern Norway"

Thursday 12th December (evening lecture) - Graham Kings and Rodger Connell on "A long walk on the beach... in the company of W.S.Bisat and others"

Thursday 13th February - (evening lecture) -  Dr Della Murton of Cambridge University on "Mid-Late Devensian palaeoenvironmental change in the Vale of York and Humber gap"

Thursday 12th March - AGM and evening lecture - Richard Forrest on 'Plesiosaurs from Yorkshire (with a brief excursion south of the Humber)'


Winter lecture meetings start at 7-30 p.m. and are held in the Department of Geography, Environment and Earth Sciences, Cohen Building, University of Hull. Non-members are welcome to attend but must arrive before the start of the meeting.
